Bengaluru startup eReleGo Technologies has received an Indian patent for its digital procurement platform, Biddofy. The platform facilitates real-time bidding between private sector buyers and GST-registered sellers using proprietary low-code/no-code technology, aiming for transparent price discovery.
The patent is expected to create new revenue streams and expansion opportunities for the company. The platform is designed to help smaller businesses compete for large private orders and gain national exposure without major IT investments, while also simplifying tax compliance.
While operating in the private sector, Biddofy supports national goals by formalizing the digital supply chain and incentivizing more MSMEs to join the GST ecosystem through its mandatory GST registration.
Main Topics: Patent award for a digital procurement platform; platform's function and technology (real-time bidding, low-code/no-code); benefits for the startup and for small businesses (MSMEs); alignment with national economic priorities (GST formalization).
Bengaluru-based startup eReleGo Technologies said it has received a patent for its digital procurement platform Biddofy from the Indian authorities. The platform enables real-time bidding between private sector buyers and GST-registered sellers, the company added.
The platform uses proprietary low-code / no-code technology to facilitate the bidding, allowing transparent price discovery in private sector procurement, the startup noted in a statement.
The patent opens avenues for new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and market expansion, it added.
While Biddofy operates exclusively in the private sector, the platform aligns with national priorities such as formalising the digital supply chain and bringing more MSMEs into the GST ecosystem as the platform requires GST registration, said cofounder Sudeer Shetty. He added that it would incentivise small businesses to avail of opportunities beyond govt procurement.
The statement added that the platform allows smaller enterprises to compete for high-value private sector orders and gain national exposure without investing in complex IT systems. Built-in GSTIN verification and automated HSN/SAC matching further simplify compliance.
