Ukrainian Paralympic biathlete Maksym Murashkovskyi won a silver medal at the Winter Paralympics and credited ChatGPT as a key part of his training. He stated he used the AI for six months to assist with tactics, training plans, motivation, and as a stand-in for roles like psychologist and coach.
Murashkovskyi believes AI is a revolutionary technology that could eventually replace some functions of human coaches, though not completely within the next five to ten years. His success contributed to Ukraine's medal tally at the Games.
The main topics covered are sports achievement, the application of artificial intelligence in athletic training, and the potential future role of AI in coaching.

"For the past six months, I have been training with ChatGPT," â Murashkovskyi, 25, âtold reporters.
"It was not only tactics. It was half â of my training plan, motivation, et cetera. So it was a huge volume of all of my training.
"I used it as a psychologist, coach and, sometimes, as a doctor." He added that AI âcould eventually replace some of the work provided by human coaches.
"Not completely for five â to 10 years. But part of it, definitely," he said. "I believe in it, it is a revolutionary technology." Ukraine have won 10 medals at this year's Paralympics so far.
